The 2022 IDE Sr. High Retreat scheduled for November 18-19 at Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca was postponed. Details about a potential rescheduling are forthcoming.

Pastor Andrew Gray of St. John Lutheran Church in Marengo will be leading our presentation on Theology in “that” Music? It’s quite common for people to make the mistake that just because music might be played on mainstream radio it doesn’t teach anything about God.  A big question though is whether what it does teach about God is sound or not. Either way people are influenced by the music they listen to.  In our sessions we will explore popular songs that say something theological. We will also look at the lives of some of the artists and see how Christianity effects their song writing. In addition, we will highlight some ways to evaluate songs that we might enjoy in the future.
