The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. For over 75 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions.
Iowa East is a District organization of the LWML. All women who are members of the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod are members and welcome to attend our events.
For more than a century, Lutheran Family Service (LFS) has been there for people in their time of need. Operating primarily out of offices in the Quad Cities, Des Moines, Sioux City and Fort Dodge, LFS also serves many rural areas throughout Iowa, providing a variety of services including pregnancy, marriage and mental health counseling and adoption services. Lutheran Family Services offers a number of congregational outreach programs designed to equip people with what they need to successfully manage life challenges before they become a crisis.
The mission of Lutheran Church Extension Fund is to support The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod by ensuring that financial resources and related services are available now and in the future.

KFUO is the longest continually owned-operated religious broadcast station in the world. KFUO Radio has been a listener-supported broadcast ministry of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod since 1924. Historical Lutheran worship, beautiful sacred music, and invigorating talk programming and news are broadcast daily online and over the air. KFUO Radio has continued to spread the Gospel with the help of its dedicated worldwide listeners.
