Iowa East District – LWML
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. For over 75 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions.
Iowa East is a District organization of the LWML. All women who are members of the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod are members and welcome to attend our events.
Lutheran Family Service
For more than a century, Lutheran Family Service (LFS) has been there for people in their time of need. Operating primarily out of offices in the Quad Cities, Des Moines, Sioux City and Fort Dodge, LFS also serves many rural areas throughout Iowa, providing a variety of services including pregnancy, marriage and mental health counseling and adoption services. Lutheran Family Services offers a number of congregational outreach programs designed to equip people with what they need to successfully manage life challenges before they become a crisis.

The Lutheran Church Extension Fund
The mission of Lutheran Church Extension Fund is to support The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod by ensuring that financial resources and related services are available now and in the future.
LCEF has served as the financial extension of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) since 1978, offering funding and resources in support of the Church. When you invest with LCEF, you’re providing for the creation and growth of congregations and ministries across the country.
KFUO Radio
KFUO is the longest continually owned-operated religious broadcast station in the world. KFUO Radio has been a listener-supported broadcast ministry of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod since 1924. Historical Lutheran worship, beautiful sacred music, and invigorating talk programming and news are broadcast daily online and over the air. KFUO Radio has continued to spread the Gospel with the help of its dedicated worldwide listeners.

The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod
The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) is a denomination that confesses the historic, orthodox Christian faith, a faith built on “the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone” (Eph. 2:20).
The LCMS, headquartered in St. Louis, Mo., is mission-oriented and Bible-based. LCMS doctrine reflects the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther, as summarized in The Book of Concord: The Confessions of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Concordia Plan Services provides benefits for over 6,000 LCMS organizations, including schools, universities, congregations and other ministries worldwide. CPS benefits and services not only provide financial protection and peace of mind in times of need, but also offer a wide range of support and encouragement for the well-being of our church workers.
Concordia Publishing House
